National Productivity Week 2016

a. The Haryana State Productivity Council commenced National Productivity Week 20016 celebrations by organizing an Interaction Session with Media informing them the activities the council will organize during the National Productivity Week and also the role of the Haryana State Productivity Council for spreading the message of Productivity and giving fillip to the Productivity Movement in the State of Haryana.

The Interaction Session was presided over by Shri J.P.Malhotra, President of the council. Mr. Malhotra requested the media persons to give coverage in News papers regarding various activities the council organizes from time to time so that the presence of the council is felt in State of Haryana. Members of governing body of the council and union representatives participated in the interaction Session prominent among them were Mr. G.C.Narang,Immediate past President, Mr. H.L.Bhutani, Sr. Vice President, Mr. Sanjiv Aggarwal, Vice President, Mr. Bechu Giri, Hony. Secretary & Shri S.K.Dangi of INTUC .The media representatives from Dainik Jagran, Punjab Kesri, India Kesri, Impressive Times , Zeenxet Time were present.

b. Productivity Week cards announcing various activities the council will organize during National Productivity Week and posters on Productivity printed by National Productivity Council were distributed to members of the council and other associations with a request to them to display the posters on shop floor and offices in their industries .Banners on National Productivity Week was displayed at prominent places in Faridabad to give publicity to Productivity Week Celebrations.

c. To commensurate with Productivity Week Celebrations the council released First Ever inaugural addition of Bio Monthly “ Haryana Productivity News “ bulletin showcasing what activities HSPC does for enterprises. The news bulletin was released by chief guest Mr. K.C.Lakhani, C M D, Lakhani Aarman Group of Industries.

d. Haryana State Productivity Council organized a seminar on the National Productivity Week Theme on “ Ease Of Doing Business For Higher Productivity And Sustainable Growth” on 16th February 2016.

Mr. JP Manhotra President of the council in his presidential address said that Productivity is key to success of an enterprise and results in job creation and contributes to Make In India dream of Prime Minister a success. Mr. Manothra said that deregulation , Delicensing and reduced disruptions by frequent inspetions will allow enterprises free time to innovate ,adopt technological advancements and concentrate on core business leading to sustainable growth.

Chief Guest Shri K. C. Lakhani, CMD , Lakhani Aarman Group of Industries in his inaugural address underlined the issues of self certification ,single window clearance ,easier and simple labor laws , coordination and co operation between employer’s ,employees and government officials would ultimately contribute to productivity movement.

Focused presentations at the theme seamier where made by Ms. Malvika Sinha Nealkanth World Foundation , on Productivity Enhancement. Shri Umang Malik, Director, FMS spoke on EDB Skilling- Challenges at Educational Institution , Mr N.P .Bhatnager , Project Head BYST spoke on Issues of Entrepreneurship and Ms. Charu Smita Malothra, of IBM spoke on Computer Education and Job Creation .All the speakers had one thing in common that the entrepreneurs need to be Free to Think of Productivity, Safety and Labour welfare if Productivity has to be improved.

Shri J.P.Tripathi ,Chairman-Programmes, HSPC conducted the technical session giving his inputs of what needs to be done for Ease of Doing Business.

Mr Bechu Giri , Honorary Secretary of the council remarked that in today’s scenario the labour is extreemly co operative and supports the enterprise’s endeavor to achieve productivity goals.

The theme seminar was a grand success attended by 80 participants representing members of HSPC ,FIA,FCCI,DLF Industrial Association, HSIDC , NSIC ,ESIC,AITUC,INTUC , FMS and Nealkanth World Foundation.

Shri HL Bhutani ,Vice President of the council in his concluding remarks said that training is a never ending continues process . He thanked the Chief Guest, learned speakers and all the delegates for sparing their valuable time to make this seminar a memorial one.
