Seminar on “SUPPLY CHAIN SUPPLY MANAGEMENT & COST RATIONALIZATION”

Haryana State Productivity Council is organizing a one full day training programme on Supply Chain Management and Cost Rationalization on 14th June, 2017 from 10.00am to 5.00pm at Hotel K , Plot No. 2 , HUDA market, Sector 31 , Faridabad.

A supply chain is a sequence of organizations, their facilities, that are involved in producing and delivering a product or service. We need to understand SCM to meet the challenges of globalization, manage complexities, and inventories needed across the supply chain. Supply chain management is the integration of the activities that procure materials and services, transform them into intermediate goods, and final products; subsequently delivering them through a distribution system. Supply Chain Management encompasses the planning and management of all activities involved in sourcing and procurement, conversion, and all logistics management activities.

Appreciating, that one major way of achieving competiveness is through cost cutting. Hence, a few lectures on , understanding cost break-up and rationalizing the same have been added to the traditional subject of Supply Chain management.

The training programme will be conducted by Mr. K.K. Muthu, M.Tech (IIT Delhi), B.E. (Hons), PGDM (Germany) and President, Corporate Consultancy Services .Mr. Muthu has had diverse exposure in various sectors of industry offering Strategic Consultancy services . He has more than 33 years of experience as a consultant & trainer .
